haaaaay - i’m allison mckail,

I coach the humans on the fitness… but I will always lead with being human myself first. every damn time.

I have zero interest in being some ‘better-than-thou’ coach you feel like you need to put on a pedestal. Too many people think leadership means making others feel less than - and welp, I’m here to shut that down real quick. I’m not better than you. I don’t have it all figured out. And there’s no secret formula. What I do have is the knowledge, experience, and no-BS approach to help you get where you want to go.

I understand deep struggle - personally. Those experiences have made me both empathetic and direct. I won’t coddle you, but I sure as hell won’t shame you either. This is a space for growth and imperfection, because isn’t one without the other. There is no success without failure. And there is no progress without a little mess along the way.

We can do hard things, and we don’t have live a life of grand gesture sacrifice in order to build the life we deserve and want.

I was 18 when I realized the kind of power focusing on your fitness & health can bring to a life.

Shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2014, I took my very expensive piece of paper, put it in a drawer, and jumped headfirst into a completely different career: Fitness.

That leap taught me one of the biggest lessons of my life: knowledge is everywhere. So in 2016, I earned my OPEX CCP certification, worked inside OPEX gyms, and focused on 1:1 coaching for individuals from all backgrounds, from competitive athletes, to everyday people looking for a sustainable approach to health. To this day, the OPEX methodology remains the foundation of my coaching because I’ve yet to find another approach that provides true 360-degree support for humans in and out of the gym.

But the biggest takeaway from all the certifications and education i’ve been chasing since 2014? The humans come first. Training isn’t just about science, numbers, or the ‘perfect’ program. It’s about meeting you where you are and figuring out what actually works for your life.

Because the best training plan in the world is useless if the human doing it isn’t bought in.

This is Luke, there is no Allison without this beautiful boy.

Luke passed away after 10 loyal years by my side on July 31, 2022. I can't talk about the human I am, or the business I have today without him. He loved playing fetch, hanging out at the gym with me, & was obsessed with his frisbee. He was a damn good dog.

Most of my clients don’t just get stronger in the gym, they build the confidence to take charge of their lives. For some, that means finally leaving soul-sucking jobs to pursue something more fulfilling. For others, it’s setting boundaries, taking up space, and realizing they’re capable of more than they ever thought.

No, you don’t need to quit your job to change your life, but I will push you to chase what actually brings you joy outside of the gym. You are NEVER stuck. You were never broken. You deserve better, and I’m going to show you how.

I coach humans how to lift big & live bigger.

take control of your meat suit, & the soul inside of it.

Apply to work with me

Maybe you’ve realized by now—I’m not like other coaches. I care just as much about who you are outside the gym as I do about what you accomplish inside it.

Truth is, working 1:1 with me only works for you, if you are in a place to show up and do the work. So if you're ready to take messy action, and communicate with me so we can do the most for youI'm here for it.

Because those are the humans I want to work with.

If you’re convinced that more struggle equals more success,

I’m here to give you a reality check.
