#BBF is a launched based program.

    A 12 MONTH ONLINE TRAINING PROGRAM FOUSED ON PROGRESSIVE MOVEMENT PATTERNS AND THE inFAMOUS #GYMPROVISING METHODology.

    "SHIT WILL ALWAYS HAPPEN, BUT WE HAVE THE POWER TO ADJUST course & move forward, once we embrace the discomfort of change."

    origin story

    gyms shut down in 2020, & we needed to figure shit out,  fast. gyms rented equipment or we used what we had; trees & Pets were not off limits. We found our new training situations in our yards, driveways, parks (or at the beach).

    I WAS SHARING this new training situation via THE 'GRAM. I abandoned my shoes, TRAINed at the BEACH, and MY ANKLET COLLECTION WAS MULTIPLYING AT AN IRRATIONAL RATE. 

    After while, those who were feeling the same affects I was, started abandoning their shoes, & chasing the sunshine. 

    WE RELEASED OUR GYM CULTURE EGOS
    AND FOCUSED ON BEING RIGHT WHERE WE WERE. 
    & THIS THING WE WERE DOING SOON COINED INTO THE TERM #BEACHBUMFITNESS. 
    IT WAS AN ATTITUDE TOWARDS WHAT WE WERE ALL GOING THROUGH,

    with movement variations:
    zercher squats, snatch grip rdls, 
    seated z press, backsquats.. 

    pushups, pull-ups, turkish get ups, ARM BARS, kettlebell SWINGS, kb Cleans & Snatch, & more

    aerobic work and finishers

    learn how to sustain efforts, and hold paces with Aerobic and muscular endurance finshers.

    adapt based on where you are

    Equipment variations, skill regressions and progressions.

    #Beachbumfitness is programmed using a basic gym set up:

    cyclical equipment
    (a bike, rower, ability to run, etc..)

    barbell & plates
    dumbbells / kettlebells
    squat rack & Pullup-bar
    bench
    box
    foam wedge
    resistance bands
    rings / trx


    what in the frackin hell is #gymprovising

    (sorta.. see gymprovising below)

    listen here my fellow barefoot'n fitness frand - if you don't have access to the equipment above or scared you wont have all the skillz required in this plan.. 





    we just might have to gymprovise a lil' bit

    inside #bbf there will be resources and helpful suggestions for equipment options / skill abilities to interchange with. 
     you will have options to help you with the #gymprovising part to keep you moving consistently throughout the next 12 months. 





    #bbf was built to improve the big lifts while having a heavy focus on keeping balance with given movement patterns. This means that ITS OKAY if you need to swap one movement for another based on equipment, space or ability. 




    listen fam, we've never been about perfection over here.

    and just to be totally clear..

    #bbf is currently not built to be a totally minimal at home program.
    (think a single dumbbell and maybe a resistance band).

    maybe one day.. but not quite yet. 




    for example we may need some #gymprovising if..

    a Single Arm DumbBell Strict Press is prescribed 
    & you don't have access to a bunch of different dumbbell weights 





    you may have to #gymprovise the movement with..

    a Kettlebell, or a landmine setup. 
    ..is it an exact match to the movement prescribed? nope.
    but we were looking for a unilateral pushing pattern to be done, and with other equipment it hits the mark.
